During our last week of school before winter vacation, our STEM lab was transformed into the venue of the Grinch Games. During STEM class, students in Pre-K to 4th grade participated in a variety of Grinch-related challenges, ranging from building Grinch hearts out of Legos to designing a vehicle to allow the Grinch to zipline into Whoville.
For the past two months, second and third grade students participating in our after school Technology Club have been using the block-based coding tools in Scratch to create animations. In the club, students tinkered with graphic design, sound, and coding to bring their ideas to life. Check out some photos of their designs!
