After completing their Technology Take Apart projects, students in the 7th and 8th grade spent time experimenting with LittleBits electronics and Makey Makey kits. The Makey Makey, shown below in the banana piano photo and video clips, is a tool that engages students in physical computing and offers endless possibilities for using physical items to provide input to a computer.
For the past two months, second and third grade students participating in our after school Technology Club have been using the block-based coding tools in Scratch to create animations. In the club, students tinkered with graphic design, sound, and coding to bring their ideas to life. Check out some photos of their designs!
